Overview
Trek starts from Gorkha, heading north from Gorkha, along the Budhi Gandaki River; the route then turns westwards into a high alpine valley with typical Tibetan villages and a number of fine monasteries. Tsum Valley is a sacred pilgrimage valley situated in lap of trans-Himalayan region of Gorkha district. Trail passes through close up view of Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and Baudha Himal ranges. Trail passes through Tibetan village rich in ancient art, culture, religion and taste of their food. Trails are lined with walls made up of thousands of stone slab carved with the image of deities and prayer.
