Overview

Mera peak is one of the most beautiful, famous and highest peaks in the Everest region. From the Merak Peak (6461m) 8000m mountain Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu close-up view can be observed. The trip starts with a 35 min flight from Kathmandu to the Himalayan airport of Lukla. The walk through the forest of the Hinku Valley, Learning Sherpa community is incredibly beautiful and provides for one of the best views of Mera peak.  The most favorable time to make this memorable is between March to the end of May, and October through to mid-December.
