Mountain flight takes you, flying into valleys close to the rock face, as close as five nautical miles from the Everest itself. One has to go domestic airport to take mountain flight then you start approximately 2 hour fly then the first view comes with the 8013m high Shisha Pangma, the 14th highest mountain in the world, series of several smaller peaks beginning with Dorje Lakpa, followed by Phurbi Ghyachu (6637 m), the 5970m Choba Bhamare, Gauri Shankar (7134m), Melungtse (7181m), Rolwaling range. Recommended the best time is February – April, and October – December when the sky is clear.
